Maria Christopoulos, CEO and sonographer, was recently selected as Top CEO of the Year for 2024 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.

With more than two decades of experience in the industry, Ms. Christopoulos has certainly, proven herself as an expert in her field. As a dynamic, results driven leader, Maria’s expertise in advanced 5D sonography has enabled her to make significant contributions to the healthcare community, partnering with General Electric, improving patient outcomes and advancing the field. As the Chief Executive Officer of PregnantSee Inc., Maria Christopoulos has demonstrated her visionary leadership and commitment to providing a new approach and model, and offering innovative healthcare solutions for expectant mothers. Under her visionary leadership she has built its reputation as a trusted, recommended and respected leader in the healthcare industry.
Ms. Christopoulos’ areas of expertise include but are not limited to providing a new approach and model in women’s healthcare and the use of cutting-edge 5D sonography technology and numerous services to hospitals, clinics, doctors, midwives, other sonography facilities and expectant families.
Before embarking on her career path, Mrs. Christopoulos earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral & Social Sciences at the University of Maryland in 1998. Mrs. Christopoulos formerly worked in banking. She advanced to Vice President in the retail division for SunTrust Bank from 1998 to 2006. Additionally, Maria is a National Insurance Producer. As a licensed Life & Annuity agent she applied her knowledge and experience as a retirement strategist to develop comprehensive financial strategies for her clients, ensuring they are well-equipped for the future. With her expertise as a business executive and life insurance agent, she used her knowledge and platform to revolutionize the healthcare industry and began catering to pregnant women, specifically via obstetric sonography procedures.
Throughout her illustrious career, this devoted mother of five, has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments. This year she was inducted into the prestigious Marquis Who’s Who in America Biographical Registry. To commemorate her achievements, Maria was recently featured in an interview on CBN News. This year she will be considered for the Empowered Woman Award and to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. She will be honored at IAOTPs annual awards gala next year at the Opryland in Nashville next December for her selection as Top CEO of the Year and will be considered to be featured on the famous Nasdaq billboard in Times Square NYC.
In addition to her successful career, Maria has actively participated in industry associations and several pertinent professional organizations including the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and the National Pregnancy Association shared her skills, expertise and insights through speaking engagements and publications, further cementing her reputation as an influential thought leader in this specialized healthcare sector.
